Caregiver Eligibility
✓ At least 18 years old
✓ Adult child, sibling, relative, neighbor, friend, or trusted individual
✓ Parent (if the care recipient is 18+)
✓ Able to provide approved Home Help services
✓ Meet caregiver enrollment requirements
Spouses cannot be paid caregivers, and parents cannot be paid caregivers of a minor child.

Building a Care Plan
Whether clients need occasional assistance or ongoing support, caregivers provide compassionate, reliable care while honoring independence, comfort, and quality of life. Every care plan is tailored to the individual's needs, routines, and goals.

Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Eligibility for Home Help services requires assistance with at least one of the following Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

Bathing
Assistance with showering, getting in and out of the shower or tub, cleansing, washing, and drying.

Toileting
Help with using the toilet, personal hygiene, and providing incontinence care.

Grooming
Support with hair, nail, and oral care, as well as shaving and other daily grooming needs.

Dressing
Assistance with clothing, footwear, buttons, zippers, braces, and other daily needs.

Mobility
Walking assistance, stair navigation, and movement support designed to promote safety and decrease fall risk.

Transferring
Help with moving between beds, chairs, wheelchairs, vehicles, and other surfaces designed to promote safety and decrease fall risk.

Eating
Active support during mealtimes, including meal setup, food prepping, and feeding assistance when needed.

Meal Preparation
The preparation, planning, and cooking of meals based on dietary needs and personal taste.

Shopping
Assistance with grocery shopping, prescription pickups, and other essential errands.

Medication Reminders
Gentle prompting to take prescription medications on time.

Housework
Light housekeeping and upkeep with household tasks such as tidying, dusting, sweeping, and maintaining a clean, comfortable living environment.

Laundry
Tasks associated with the washing, drying, folding, and putting away of clothing and household linens.
